www.crans-montana.com is an independent travel guide to Crans-Montana, Valais, Switzerland. It is not affiliated with the official tourism office.

Technical & security logs: like any website, our hosting provider records technical data when you load a page — your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and timestamps. This is processed to deliver the site, ensure security, and prevent abuse.

Language preference: we store a small functional cookie (NEXT_LOCALE) to remember the language you chose (FR/EN/DE). It contains no personal identifier.

That is all. We use no analytics tools, advertising trackers, social pixels, or profiling of any kind.

We use only strictly-necessary or functional cookies:

— NEXT_LOCALE — remembers your language choice (first-party, about 1 year).

— __cf_bm and similar — set by our provider Cloudflare for bot protection and security.

Because we set no analytics or advertising cookies, no cookie-consent banner is required. You can clear or block cookies in your browser at any time.

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes your IP address and request data to serve and secure the site. Cloudflare is GDPR-compliant and provides appropriate safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses) for any data transfer.

Some links (e.g. to Booking.com or GetYourGuide) are affiliate links: if you book through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. When you click such a link you leave our site, and the destination's own privacy policy applies.

Some images are loaded from external sources (e.g. Wikimedia Commons); your browser requests them directly from those servers.

If you submit your email address through the sign-up form, we use it only to send you updates about Crans-Montana, on the basis of your consent. We never share or sell it, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
