Getting there as a spectator
The golden rule: leave the car in Sierre.
- There is no spectator parking in Crans-Montana during the Championships: park in Sierre and continue on free public transport.
- On race days the Sierre–Crans-Montana funicular is free, runs more often, and operates until midnight.
- Free shuttles from Sierre to Barzettes and to Vermala; extra shuttles run continuously after the races.
- Local buses on the Haut-Plateau run more often and until midnight every day.
- Come by train to Sierre if you can; extra SBB trains from German-speaking Switzerland are planned.
- Fan zone Ycoor (ceremonies, evenings) and slope fan zones (Houlès / 2006, final access by ski lift).
- The Mont-Lachaux and Nationale race pistes are reserved from 25 January to 15 February 2027; the Crans-Cry d'Er and Violettes sectors stay connected.
- The ski area stays open during the Championships.
